Our Region

Just three hours north of Toronto, we are situated at the junctions of Highway 11 and Trans Canada Highway 17. With picturesque Trout Lake on the east and Lake Nipissing on the west, we are a true four seasons community. Each area we cover boasts features such as clean air, beautiful forests and water, creating a healthy environment to work, live and raise a family.

North Bay and area offers beautiful lakefront property in both urban and rural settings. Country living is also available within minutes from the city, allowing for a variety of lifestyle and recreational options. Not to boast, but we also offer activities such as boating, downhill and cross-country skiing, hiking , golf and snowmobiling. North Bay's Downtown core is anchored by the Capitol Centre; an 1100 seat theatre and art gallery. Neighbouring the downtown is the beautiful Lake Nipissing boardwalk and 350-slip marina complex. The boardwalk area becomes the heart of the city in the summer hosting events.

North Bay is home to the North Bay Regional Health Centre, offering comprehensive medical services to the area. Academically, the city is home to the joint campus of Canadore College and Nipissing University as well as four local school boards offering elementary and high school programs in both English and French.
